Dr Matthew Stiebel is internationally known for his work on patellofemoral disorders. He was at the forefront of patellofemoral ligament reconstruction when this technique was being developed and has published on Medial Patellofemoral Ligament (MPFL) disorders. He has presented this innovative research at the International Patellofemoral Research Society and at International Knee Symposiums in Davos, Switzerland. He has also helped design a highly successful patella inlay prosthesis. He continues to do research on cartilage defects in the knee.
